Who am i ?
My name is Luke Edelman and I have been around since I was young
fascinated by everything that ticks, turns and moves.
On my 21st birthday I received a beautiful watch from
my parents and this sparked a new passion for me. I wore this watch
every day since my birthday and started looking at many more watches that
I liked it.
The watches that were popular were all their own
beautiful in its own way and of course I wanted these watches all in my
collection, but a nice collection also comes with a price tag.
That made this new passion unattainable for me. Then I am
came up with the right solution.
A watch with the same look that I fall in love with
became, only an affordable price range!
The research
Learn and try
Ultimately I ended up in the Seiko modification world.
After watching many videos on YouTube “How do you put a watch together?” I started trying it myself.
I bought the first parts that are crucial for a watch, such as: the case, the dial, the hands, the strap, the bezel ring and, not unimportantly, the movement.
These parts arrived and I grabbed my toolbox and started building my first self-built watch this way.
The beginning

When I started building my first watch, I discovered that having the right tools can save a lot of effort. Building my first watch took me between 2/3 hours.
You learn from making mistakes, and it has taught me a lot and I am proud that I was successful in building my first watch.
Growing
From amateur to pro
By building multiple watches I gained more and more self-confidence and I built better quality watches. After wearing the watches myself, people started to notice this.
As a result, I was increasingly asked: “Where do you buy that watch? It looks nice". Super cool of course, and because the watches could be put together myself, I was able to build and see the most beautiful watch combinations.
The start of a company

Now that I have been busy for a few years and have already built and sold more than 100 watches, I am ready to start my own brand.
With my brand I want to give people the peace and security to be able to wear their own custom dream watch without they have to search or tinker themselves.
I also want to try new things with my brand by developing new and improved styles with well-known styles. Such as the black cases that I started using.
It used to be nice to use black cases in watches, but they were very sensitive to scratches. For example, you accidentally bumped your watch against a table or wall and you immediately had a gray line on your watch.
After a long search, I have finally found black parts that are not sensitive to scratches, and I can now proudly sell them under the name Edelman!
Of course, I tested the first edition of the Edelmanwachtes myself to make sure that they really do not scratch. And even after a few months of wearing it, I still haven't encountered any gray scratches!
Starting in a market
Mission
From experience I can say that it is difficult to find a nice watch that appeals to the public with an affordable price.
In addition, many people do not dare to wear their original watch, because they are afraid that the watch will be stolen.
In short: my mission is to bring luxurious/stylish watches to the market that you dare to wear, instead of having to put them in the closet because it can be stolen from your wrist.
Vision
I want to make people happy, just like the watches make me happy, and I want to share that happiness with everyone.
So that everyone dares to walk around with a nice, affordable watch that also has a luxurious appearance.
In addition, I want to make watches personally with their own touch, so that everyone has their own personal watch.
